Today was the final nail in the coffin! To all Obama supporters, he's done, finished, gone! Accept it. The American people are too obsessed with tabloids and fluff to have the knowledge required to realize that this bad economy is not his fault.
No doubt the top CEO's of corporations and their hedge fund managers were all giving each other high fives when the unemployment numbers came out today. Only 18,000 jobs created(100,000 was expected) and the unemployment rate jumped up to 9.2 percent.
Obama will not be re-elected! His own liberal base hates him(many have said they will not support him), the republican voters will turn out in droves to defeat him regardless of who the republican nominee is, corporations will be able to influence the general public into voting for their republican puppets, unions have been weakened state to state, and the independent voter is too busy watching "American Idol" and "Gossip Girl" to know what the hell is going on!
So we need to realize that the REAL presidential election is going on right now. The republican primary, whoever wins will be the next president! One of these next three people will be the next President...

Both chambers of congress WILL pass legislation that will do three important things. 1) Raise the debt ceiling by 2.4 trillion effectively thwarting a global depression. 2) Cut deficit spending by 1 trillion over the next ten years. And most importantly of even the first two but what nobody realizes. Obama will deliver on one of his most important campaign pledges. 3) Change the tone in Washington!

Liberals and Conservatives hate this bill and that's why it MUST pass! They know that they will now lose their voices! If the American public has learned anything in the past 6-8 years is that the fringe elements on the left and right have no business governing! They have their place in keeping their party leaders on their toes, but when it comes to governing a complex nation such as ours, the moderate middle of both sides MUST have the majority of say and sway!
The liberal notion of "We must continue spending billions of dollars because if we don't America will no longer prosper!" is an utter joke! The vast majority of businesses are sitting on billions of dollars because of out of control spending in Washington! Our national debt is currently 14 trillion dollars and rising! Is that really a good thing liberals??? Spending cuts must be in the discussion and yes, that includes making tweaks and adjustments to medicare, medicaid, and social security! We must, and you can whine, and piss, and moan all you want but we must do this if we are to remain a strong and prosperous country!
The conservative notion of "We must cut and gut spending! No taxes, no revenues, no cuts to military spending!" is also an utter joke! We cannot, shall not, and will not ask the bottom 98% of American citizens to foot the bill on deficit reduction while the top 2% most wealthy Americans enjoy their tax breaks, subsidies, and loopholes! 1% of this country controls 90% of this countries wealth! We're not going to continue the gap of wealth in this country! We must reform the tax code, we must end the Bush tax cuts, we must end subsidies to big corporations who frankly don't need it!
Finally both sides will have no choice but to work together for at least the rest of the year! I believe it will give all of us a break from the extremes of both sides constantly yelling and screaming at each other. Liberals will be pissed and go and watch MSNBC to feel better because MSNBC will simply reaffirm their preconceived notions that more spending is the only answer and and those damn republicans are evil, evil people! Conservatives will be pissed and go watch Fox News to feel better because Fox News will simply reaffirm their preconceived notions that cutting, and gutting spending is the only answer and those damn Democrats are evil!
Meanwhile the vast majority of Americans will enjoy watching a functional government working together to solve a very serious problems! That we can tackle the hard things and get our fiscal house in order! The world is watching us! This past week in my opinion was probably the most embarrassing week this country has ever endured! Here we had two sides that were more interested in making the other side look bad than actually solving problems! I believe Obama just handed this country a great gift, a break from endless partisanship!
My only hope is that the next five months will make the American people realize how great our government works when the moderate middle is at the helm and the extremes of both sides are left to where they should be.... The talk radio, cable news, blogosphere sidelines!

I have a confession, I love Obama! Ever since the day he won Iowa in 2007 I've just loved the guy! It's cool for me personally to have my role model be the President of the United States. I have faith in his abilities to overcome this horrible situation he inherited from the WORST president ever! I know it's a shitty time for ALL of us right now and it sure feels like the economy will never come back. But we've got to realize that it took eight years to get in this mess. It's gonna probably take Obama eight years to fix it!

I read this on facebook the other day as a response to my post on Jon Huntsman. The guy who we'll call "Go-carter guy" obviously missed the point of my entry........
Facebooker,"that article bothered me greatly. I do not know much about Huntsman. The author suggested that Huntsman would be a good candidate to run. Why would he then hope that Huntsman doesn't run/doesn't win in the primaries? As long as people like the author of this continue to look at things solely as Republican and Democrat and not look at each candidate's stand on the important issues, then this country will never get better. And BTW, I will now spend some time checking out Huntsman and see what he has done/can still do. If you voted for him then he must have something to offer!" To finish allow me to piss off the fence sitters even more. For years now the democratic party has fallen in to the trap of trying to appease you people for far too long now. From the time of Jimmy Carter to the embarrassment of John Kerry losing to silver spoons Bush we tried too hard to appease you types who wanted us to not be so darned mean! And during that time we usually got our collective asses kicked. Every now and then we'd win an election but usually it was the republicans who triumphed.
In 2006 we finally wised up and fought fire with fire and Obama continued suit in 2008. Then in 2010 we once again fell for your "take the high road" approach and once again...got clobbered. We're done with you! Fuck off! If you're a fence sitter and you're getting pissed of by this post then I will say THANK GOD! Go, join the ranks of the GOP! Fuck up their election chances for the next 30 years will ya!?! We have no desire to appease the do-gooders who don't seem to show up and vote for us anyways!
To liberals everywhere...pay no mind to those who demand you to be nice, stop the partisanship, take the high road, and appease them. Be loud, be aggressive, be firm in what you believe and hold dear to your hearts! These people have utterly failed us and are un-reliable at best in showing up to the polls and voting for us! Encourage them to join the GOP, maybe the republicans will fall for it and we can reap the benefits for the next generation or two!

Liberals everywhere must be aware of one simple fact. Jon Huntsman is the only viable candidate for president that the republican party has. In my mind he is the only one who could take down Obama. Conservatives, allow me to let you in on a little secret.......LIBERALS FEAR JONHUNTSMAN! Why you ask? Because of his conservative values? Because of his experience of being a chief executive of a state? Because he's a real 'merican?.....NO! We fear him because we like him! And if we liberals like him that also means that independent voters will love him!
This would be the reaction from liberals everywhere if we found out that Jon Huntsman won the republican nomination for president.......
Jon Huntsman was the republican governor of Utah and I might add, extremely popular! The only ones I ever saw who were frustrated with him were the far right voters of his own party -aka- the tea baggers. He very much was a conservative republican but not a Rush Limbaugh republican, He was more of a Dwight Eisenhower republican.
In the 2008 election I excitedly cast my vote for Barack Obama for president, Jim Matheson for representative, and Jon Huntsman for governor. I had many disagreements with Jon Huntsman's policies, but as a whole I knew in my gut that he truly tried to govern for ALL Utah citizen's not just the republican base that pretty much every other republican Governor, Senator, Legislator, etc. does!
In 2009 President Obama chose him to be the ambassador to China and he selflessly accepted probably knowing full well that he was badly damaging his chances of winning the hearts of his parties base. He just barely got back and many believe he's setting up groundwork to run for president in 2012 against his former boss Obama.
Unlike the rest of the flock in the republican field, Huntsman is a young, charismatic, non-tea party, likable, middle of the road republican that could easily win over the independent vote in 2012 especially if unemployment is still high. Now don't get me wrong, I in no way shape or form am endorsing Huntsman over Obama, and I highly doubt the republican base has brains enough to realize the stallion they have in Huntsman! They seem more interested in clowns like Trump, Backmann, or Gingrich than an actual serious candidates.
Obama will easily cost to victory in 2012 against any of these other jokers in the repub field. Huntsman would make 2012 a tough, tough battle for Obama and would have a serious chance of bringing him down. So fellow liberals, we must realize who our enemy is! Huntsman is Freddy Kruger, Huntsman is Jason Voorhees, Huntsman is Michael Meyers! The rest of the flock, we must do whatever WE can do to assure any one of them defeats Huntsman!
Thank god for Limbaugh, Beck, and Hannity on this one. They keep the republican base dumbed down. Hopefully it's enough to blind them from reality that Huntsman is their only chance to win the presidency in 2012!

What really pisses me off about all of this is the little nit picky details that the right, and the media take issue with! To me it's all just ways for them to continue to dislike Obama no matter what he does. The only arguments that I am sympathetic to is the argument that we really shouldn't be celebrating because of the cost of money, resources, and most of all, lives to get to this point.
