Beyond Heaven: The Art Controversy of the History - Part III

Battesimo di Cristo by Aert Gelder
Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge

In this image we can see and Jesus and John the Baptist, but in the sky there is a disk illuminating at Jesus in the moment of baptism. At first impression looks like Jesus is being watched by a UFO from the sky. But if we make a zoom, we will see a Dove.

So, this UFO over Jesus in the painting is a dove, representing the Holy Spirit. And its representation is not new, in many paintings the dove is placed in the center of a shining disk. So there is no UFO on this picture.
But hey, what a coincidence between this representation of the Holy Spirit and the thousands of UFO descriptions through the history of art, that are much more older than Catholicism itself.

To continue this analysis here I show one of the most controversial painting of all times.

Esaltation of the Eucaristy by Bonaventura Salimbeni
Church of San Pietro, Montalcino

Let’s start with the obvious; there is a satellite between God´s and Jesus throne. With antennas and everything. With that metallic-looking surface; seems like someone it’s watching over us!
But, hey, don’t panic, God do not needs a satellite in orbit. Despite their incredible similarities this is not what it seems. Here we have some other paintings that can clear this "confusion".

By watching these pictures then all changes, we can see that is not a satellite like we thought it was but a sphere, and those antennas are wands used by Jesus and God. The illusion of the metal-looking surface is the inverse “T” lines that are in exact the same position in all the paintings. For last but not least, the light inside and the bottom pipe-like circle, allegedly represent the Sun and the Moon respectively.

We can assume that the sphere represent the creation globe, the Earth that God made when there was only shadows according to the Genesis...But there is one drawback with this explanation that theologian give to this painting.

Before the firs direct evidence that the Earth was round, in 1519 by Fernando Magallanes, the common believe was that the Earth was FLAT. So all those middle age paintings that shows the sphere with the inverse "T" in the sky cannot be representing Earth because people believe with no doubt the flatness of our planet.

In conclusion, this and many other paintings, tales and stories where inspired by something else, the question in, What?

So we need to ask ourselves again. What our ancestors, artists, astronomers, tribes and disappeared civilizations really saw? And most of all. Can it be that the divinities showed in all this pictures are physically, mentally, technological and spiritually advanced beings who have been with us and us with them since immemorial times?
