Summer and Quilting....

Summer in our house means SOFTBALL it is a concentrated 6-8 week period. I just adore softball!! The girls are darling, the parents are great and the games are wonderful. We spend just about our whole weekends on “the field”. When we are not there, we are with little T and my other daughter. Summer is such a family time. No schedules to follow, stay up late, sleep in late, play, play and play.
Quilting how does that fit in?
Why that is how I play!!
Right now, I am hand quilting a quilt for one of my nieces, which I will show when I am done. I am keeping up with my multitude of swaps. I am blog hopping and reading. Oh yes, I am buying fabric too.
I cannot seem to get enough of Katie Jumps Rope! I think I can now make a King size Disappearing 9 Patch!! A little Mickey Mouse for T and some vehicles I might use for his wall hanging.

Then I could not pass theses up, love the little shelf of jars!!

My YD made a very small flannel quilt for Little T. He is now at the stage where everything goes right into his mouth, he especially likes burp cloths!! She made this is a few hours and was so excited to give it to him. Cute and bright.

Hope you are having a fun summer too!
