30 Stencil Graffiti Artworks that are worth seeing

30 Stencil Graffiti Artworks that are worth seeing

Some people will say it’s definitely Banksy others will deny that.  I intentionally haven’t written the artists that made these graffiti stencils, because it always gets people into quarrel. Moreover, knowing the artist distorts the way you see and evaluate the Artwork itself – because if you are a fan of Banksy – even a poo on a wall made by him will look cool to you.I give you an unique opportunity to see this art without knowing who drew it (if you don’t know it already of course) and be not biased about it.

Enjoy the street art!

A loss for us in Asheville, but i’m glad it’s still able to continue.” Funny protest indeed.

Sitting with an old friend.....

I am not sure how all quilters work but I always have projects in different stages around my sewing room.
One that is in the process of picking fabrics.
One that is waiting to be cut.
One ready to be pieced.
One ready to baste.
One as a take along project.
One to quilt.
And one to bind. (that pile tends to build up)!

Today it is dreary outside so I thought I would sit and hand quilt for awhile. I have shown this nine patch before but I have decided what I want to do with the sashing.

Now that I have been introduced to Presencia Threads (shameless plug) I decided a beautiful shade of pink would make a pretty design. I now have to decide what I want to quilt, lines, no, circles, no, maybe a vine with some leaves here and there.

Any ideas you could share?

I would love to hear them!

Happy sewing!

Chartbusting Dirty Lyrics !

Chartbusting Dirty Lyrics !

People just love lyrics that are down and dirty. In fact, the raunchier they are, the more popular they can be! Don't believe us? Well, then check these out...

1. Rihanna - S&M
The song features the chorus:

Sex in the air,
I don't care,
I love the smell of it,
sticks and stones may break my bones but
chains and whips excite me.

2. Wynter Gordon - Dirty Talk
Gordon's lyrics include:

Blindfold, feather bed, tickle me, slippery, G spot...
climax, hot wax, S&M on the floor, I like it hardcore.

3. Enrique Iglesias - Tonight I'm Lovin' You
Sounds innocuous? But d'you know that its also available in a version called Tonight I'm

F---- You!

I know you want me
I made it obvious that I want you too
So put it on me
Let's remove the space between me and you

4. Rihanna - Rude Boy
The chorus goes:

Come here rude boy can you get it up?
Come here rude boy is you big enough?

5. The Who - You Better You Bet
The dirty Lyrics go:

You welcome me with open arms and open legs !

6. Bryan Adams - A Night to Remember
I love the way ya move tonight
Beads of sweat drippin down your skin
Me lying here - n you lyin there
Our shadows on the wall and our hands everywhere
7. Christina Aguilera - Genie in a Bottle
If you wanna be with me, baby there's a price to pay.
I'm a genie in a bottle, you gotta rub me the right way.

8. Madonna - Where Life Begins

So won't you go down where it's warm inside
Go down where I cannot hide
Go down where all life begins
Go down that's where my love is

How everything went wrong!!

This is a post about how everything went wrong!! As I posted before, I started my I Spy quilt by cutting 5 inch squares of novelties. Many of which were kindly sent to me. thank you! I then cut the sashing on my AccuCut studio. Now I start to see them together. I was using them as leaders and enders. Probably did not take the correct time to make the precise ¼ inch seam!

Next sew them in to rows. So far, so good! Ten rows with 12 squares each.

Time to make the top. Again using my studio cut strips. Sew a strip to the top of a row. Add the next row, Hmm larger!

Add the next row, larger,
Add the next row, larger,
larger and larger!
It looks like stairs!!
By the time I get done I will have totally eliminated one whole 5 inch square!

Now, there is no way I am going to redo this whole top,
so I will trim it up and the grandbabies will love it.

Wow!!
I guess that ¼ of an inch seam is important!!!
I have to laugh!!
What a goof I am!!!
