"Everything is wonderful! I have a wool candlemat in my future somewhere... I just like the looks of them. The placemats are yummy; I need a seam ripper, and my eyes being what they are, I can always use needle threaders. "

I have sent you an email, but just in case you did not receive it, please send me your address!

Color......

I am not the kind of person who takes months and months to pick a color for a room. My Mom was like that and bless her in Heaven most of her home was almond (Remember when that was the color?); to me it is a can of paint! If I do not like it I can repaint. I think that was a pleasant surprise for our painters. It took me 5 minutes to pick my colors. Blue, tan, and the hardest color to pick was the atrium white.
Well the painting is done. Next the carpet!!!
YIPPEE!!!!

No Sewing this weekend…

We were lucky enough to have TT spend the night with us while Mommy and Daddy went Christmas shopping.
He came with us to Maggie’s basketball game and had such fun. Home for bath, books, prayers and cuddles.

Up the next day to Pop’s homemade crepes. Then we took out the Christmas train and played with that for quite a while. Next, onto the gingerbread house. Hmmm, he did seem to eat quite a bit but what’s a grandma to do??

This was his side.

Grandma had to make this cute little guy!

He left at lunch time and we miss him already, so we spent the rest of the day doing our tree and putting out Christmas decorations. By the time we were done it was to dark for pictures.
My or my we adore that little guy!!

Really?????

As much as I REALLY do not like snow;
I will admit our backyard does look pretty.

Now that is enough, on to hot and humid.
Hmmm Illinois, no snow, might need to move!

I would like…

To encourage you all to think about joining this bee

The 3 X 6 Sampler Quilt Mini Bee

I know many of you who read my blog are already in this fun bee but for those who do not know about it, please allow me to explain.

This is a great bee for those who cannot commit to a whole year. It is run by quarters. You may join one, skip one, join again or do any combination.

Again great for getting your toes wet because you pick the block you want to make and you get to use your fabric.

The bee is divided into hives. Each hive has 7 members. One member is the caretaker of the hive and helps to keep things moving.

You will make 6 blocks (I make 7 as I make myself one too). You pick the block and make 6 of the very same block. The only difference will be the colors of the fabrics. You will receive from your caretaker your members color preferences and you go from there!

Sign ups are happening right now for January.

Hop over take a peek and see what you think.

We may even end up in the same hive!!
